Sharing the life of Jesus
For us the most important thing Jesus did was to give his life so that we would have life.
John 3:16 'God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in him would have eternal life'....

So God shared the life of Jesus with us.... and Jesus said (John 13:34) 'A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.' and (John 15:17) 'Love each other'
That is why we have the words 'sharing the life of Jesus' as a simple phase that helps us to remember that:
1) We have each been forgiven by God and can know that we as individuals are loved by God and share in the life that Jesus has won for us. That's why we want to grow in knowing how to live Jesus way - sharing in in his life.
2) When we meet together God is present among and within us to be his family and to share together the amazing life that God has for us as his family. That's why we pray and worship and love to study the Bible together.
3) God has given gifts to each of us that enable us to share the life of Jesus with those who do not yet know Jesus. That includes how we work, how we share about Jesus, how we pray for people, how we serve in the community where God has placed us.
The life of Jesus was marked very specifically by speaking about God as his Father - and how he was led in all he said and did by the Holy Spirit. That was not how the people of Jesus' day thought about God... but that is how we want to share the life of Jesus life today.
God is the best Father - and he loves us so much that through the gift of his Son Jesus he can rescue us from ourselves, fill us with the Holy Spirit and lead us into prayerful, purposeful, positive lives.... growing to be more and more like Jesus!
