Chris has lived in Bucks since 1983, when he started teaching physics at Dr Challoner's Grammar School, Amersham. Shortly after that he met Corinna at the King's Church, Amersham, and they got married in 1985. They moved to Prestwood in 1990, and have two sons, Ian and Alex. Corinna went to be with the Lord in early 2015.

Chris has worked for the Institute of Physics in London, in the Education Department, helping train and support teachers since 2001. Apart from physics he enjoys working out at the gym, reading history and watching films. Chris senses that God uses unlikely people to build the kingdom of God, so agreed to become an elder.
