Prestwood Area Community Transport

PACT 7

Having realised the difficulties in this area of getting to medical
appointments for those without their own means of transport,
PACT was set up in 1998 by a number of local people incuding
the District Nurses and Colin Veysey from KCP.

From its inception there has continued to be good support from
those in King's Church Prestwood. KCP members are currently involved as drivers,
  telephonists and committee members.

PACT does approx 12000 miles a year for those in need, that is around 400 lifts.

It runs as a totally volunteer, non profit making community association.

PACT also holds two tea parties a year, supported by King's Church Prestwood, for its
clients and others in the area who appreciate the opportunity to meet others whilst being
entertained and enjoying a lovely tea together.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer with PACT please phone the
  PACT mobile on  07968 641427
